Five diabase stones with bronze

The five diabase stones with their bronze ears are placed near the stone walls, forming an extension of the existing landscape. The sculptures become an integral part of the stone walls and their definitive boundary between field and forest. Moreover, the ears encourage us to sharpen our senses and be receptive to the sounds of nature. The sculptures’ bronze ears also refer to Fuglsang Manor’s long-standing history as a vibrant musical environment.

Part of Fuglsang kunstlandskab. Purchased by Fuglsang Kunstmuseum with generous support from Augustinus Fonden and the New Carlsberg Foundation.
